On/Off & WOWY

Reconstructed from NCAA play-by-play lineups. Players — each player's on-court vs off-court impact (sample-adjusted). Lineups — how each five-man unit actually performed together. Trios — which three-man combinations move the needle, aggregated across the units they share.

Impact — the one number to start with: the on/off swing (per 100 possessions) adjusted for sample size and ranked vs the field. Tier comes from the vs Field percentile.

Raw — the unadjusted swing (On Net − Off Net). A qualifying player needs 300+ on and 200+ off possessions; below that, Impact shows “—” because the sample is too thin to trust.
On Net / Off Net — the team's net rating (points scored minus allowed, per 100) with the player On the court and Off it. Raw impact is On Net − Off Net.
On / Off ORtg — points the team scores per 100 possessions. DRtg — points it allows per 100 (lower is better defense).
On/off is measured relative to a player's own teammates and isn't adjusted for opponent — a good player on a weak team can post a big swing. Read it as context, not proof.
